ON1 Photo RAW - How to manually install Photoshop Plugins

Occasionally the automated installers can’t install the plug-ins for Adobe® Photoshop® or Photoshop Elements®. This can be due to permissions issues or non-standard Photoshop installations. Extra copies of the plug-ins are installed with the application to facilitate manual installation. Follow these steps to manually install them. Before you attempt to manually install the plug-ins try these troubleshooting steps first.

Troubleshooting Photoshop Plug-Ins

  1. Try restarting Photoshop
  2. Reinstall Photo RAW, be sure to disable any anti-virus software. When you launch the installer, right click and select Run as an Administrator (Windows users only). If you are on a Mac, simply double-click to launch the installer.
  3. Uninstall previous versions of ON1 software, then try reinstalling.

 **IMPORTANT NOTE**

We have discontinued the ON1 Panel in Adobe Photoshop with the release of the new Photo RAW 2017. The ON1 Panel in Adobe Photoshop will not populate the ON1 Photo RAW 2017 plugins as it has in previous versions. The Photo RAW 2017 plugins will only appear under File > Automate and the Filters Menu in Adobe Photoshop Cs6, CC 2015 and CC 2017 when installed correctly. For more information, please click here
