When will the final version of ON1 Photo RAW 2018 be released?

How do I sign in to activate Photo Raw 2018?

You will be able to activate the program the same way as the Photo Raw 2017 activation by using the email address and password that you used to purchase or sign into your User Account on our website. However, please note, you will only be able to login to activate the Photo RAW 2018 if the program has been added to your account. The Photo Raw 2018 will only appear in your account if you are an active ON1 Plus Pro member, or if you have pre-ordered the upgrade. Please make sure you are logging in with the correct email address that you purchased with and use to login to your user account on our website. 

 
 
Will there be more free updates added throughout the year for ON1 Photo RAW 2018?
Yes, Photo RAW 2018 will include several new features and updates throughout 2018. We will have more information on what those features and updates will include soon. You can also make your voice heard on what those include by engaging with the ON1 and community via the ON1 Photo RAW Project.
 
 
What file types are supported in ON1 Photo RAW 2018?
Photo RAW 2018 Public Beta supports virtually every raw format from all major camera manufacturers, and of course it works with JPG, PSD, PSB, TIFF, and PNG files. See the list of supported cameras
 
Does ON1 Photo RAW 2018 still work as a plug-in for Photoshop® and Lightroom®?
Yes, the new versions of Effects, Develop, and Resize (all included with Photo 2018) will work as plug-ins to the following:
  • Adobe Photoshop CS6 & CC
  • Adobe Lightroom 5, 6, & CC
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements 13, 14 or 15
  • Apple® Photos
 
I don't want to use Adobe® anymore. Can I make the switch to ON1 Photo RAW 2018 and use it as a standalone photo editor?
Absolutely! Since the beginning, ON1 Photo RAW has worked as a standalone photo editor. It includes everything you need to organize and edit your photos. You also own it forever once you buy it and its not a subscription.

​What happens to ON1 Photo RAW 2017 if I want to use the ON1 Photo RAW 2018?
​Nothing. The Photo RAW 2018 will install side-by-side and is treated as a separate application. Things like your catalogs, ratings, edits, and other preferences you set in Photo RAW 2017 will also appear in version 2018.

Will there be any further updates to ON1 Photo RAW 2017?
Yes, we will definitely have another update (likely version 2017.7) to ON1 Photo RAW 2017. This will include more camera support, bug fixes, and other miscellaneous improvements. All current Photo Raw 2017 owners will receive this update automatically as soon as it is available. 
 
What are cataloged folders? Why should I use them? 
Adding images to your Cataloged folders will increase speed and performance when browsing thru large folders of raw files without having to wait for the preview to "snap" into focus. For more information on how to use the Cataloged Folders section, please click here
 
Does ON1 Support Lens correction? 
Yes, please click here for the most up to date list of supported lens models. 
 
Does ON1 Support tethered shooting? 
Unfortunately our current and legacy programs do not support tethered shooting.
 
Can I upload to Facebook or Twitter from ON1? What about SmugMug? 
Yes, you will be able to send an email to the web or email from the Mac version of ON1 Photo RAW. Unfortunately we do not have an option to upload directly fro SmugMug from our app. For more information on how to upload your image from Browse, please click here
 
Will ON1 run on the Linux OS? 
Unfortunately not. Our programs will only run on the Mac and Windows OS. The full system requirements can be found here
