How can I create a layered file from Lightroom in Perfect Photo Suite?

In previous versions of Perfect Photo Suite, you were able to select multiple images in Lightroom and send them to the Layers module it would stack each image as one new file. That was because previous versions of the Perfect Photo Suite wouldn't accommodate more than one image at at time.

In Perfect Photo Suite 8, we have added the ability to open multiple images to work on at a time. When selecting multiple images in Lightroom and sending them to the Layers module, each image will open as its own separate file. In the example below, two images were selected from Lightroom and sent to the Layers module where they now appear as two separate file tabs.

To merge the two images together, use the Copy/Paste Layer Command which is new in Perfect Photo Suite 8. First, choose the file you want to use as your master image or the image you are not going to change. In the example below, the image with the underexposed foreground will be the master image. Now, we want to merge the other open file to the master.

Next, go to the second image tab open in Layers.

Now, both opened files have been merged into one layered file and you can close the second image tab.
