Please make sure you are running the most current version of your product in order for this to work. You will want to make sure Nalpeiron services are running.
- Go to Start Control PanelAdmin ToolsServicesNalpeiron Licensing
- Make sure this is set to Started and running. If not, change the startup type to Automatic, click Apply, then Start, if it is stopped (if you get an error attempting to start this service check the next steps).
- Please make sure the Windows Event Log and Task Scheduler are running
- Go to StartControl PanelAdmin ToolsServicesWindows Event Log (Right click, go to Properties)
- Make sure this is set to Started and running. If it is not, change startup type to Automatic, click Apply, then Start, if it is stopped.
- Go to StartControl PanelAdmin ToolsServicesTask Scheduler (Right click, go to Properties)
- Make sure this is set to Started and running. If it is not, change startup type to Automatic, click Apply, then Start, if it is stopped.
- Go back to the Nalpeiron Licensing Service and attempt to start the service again. If you are unable to start these services, you have an underlying Windows problem and will need to contact Microsoft for further assistance.
Windows Vista Users:
Please make sure you have your User Account Control turned off.
Go to: Start>Control Panel(Classic View)>User Accounts>Turn User Account Control on or off>(Uncheck this box and restart your computer)
Windows 7 Users:
Please make sure you have your User Account Control turned off.
Go to: Control Panel / User Accounts and Family Safety: You will need to turn the UAC to the lowest level(never notify), restart the computer, and then relaunch the onOne Software plug-in.
