To activate ON1 Apps, you will need to sign in with the same email address that you purchased with, that you use for your ON1 account.
If you don't already have an ON1 Account, you can create one here:
Your password is the same password that you use to login to your ON1 User Account on the ON1 website. You will not receive a license number or activation code for ON1 Photo RAW.
If you do not remember the password for your User Account, you will be able to reset your password.
Please make sure you do not have any typos in your email address or password field while attempting to sign in or request a password reset. If your internet browser is auto-filling your email address into the field, please make sure it is the correct email and is spelled correctly. Some internet browsers will remember previously used email addresses (even if they include a typo).
Also, please ensure that you are launching and signing into the proper application. If you have purchased a license for ON1 Photo RAW 2023, you will be able to sign in and activate ON1 Photo RAW 2023 using your ON1 account credentials.
You will not, however, be able to activate a different ON1 program (such as ON1 Resize 2023 or other ON1 Apps; Effects, SkySwap NoNoise etc) unless you have also purchased that version. You can view all of the ON1 Products that you own here.
If you have a monthly or yearly ON1 Photo RAW subscription plan, you have access to all ON1 applications and plugins (ON1 Photo RAW, ON1 Effects, ON1 HDR, ON1 NoNoise AI, ON1 Portrait AI, ON1 Resize, SkySwap), and the ON1 Cloud Sync service for sharing photos, edits, and presets between devices. With the ON1 Photo RAW subscription, you stay up-to-date with all current and future ON1 software applications.
How to fix ON1 Photo RAW sign in problems:
Product not Found (-4) error
This error message means you are signing into a valid account that is in our system, but the ON1 app you are trying to activate is not attached to this email. This typically means you have not purchased the program, or you have purchased using a different email address than the one you are signing in under. If you have purchased products from us under multiple email addresses, please make sure you sign in with the email address your copy of ON1 Photo RAW is registered to.
The (-11) error message indicates you are entering an email address that is not in our system. To fix this error, please make sure you are signing in with the email address that your copy of ON1 Photo RAW is registered to.
Password incorrect (-7) error
This error message indicates you are using a valid email address that is in our system, but you are not entering the password correctly. If you have more than one email address on file with us, this can trigger the (-7) error as well.
To fix this error message, you will need to enter the correct email address and password for the product that you own. You will be able to reset your password by using the "Forgot My Password" function on the login page on the ON1 website.
License has expired (-8) error
The (-8) error message indicates that you need to activate and it is asking you to sign into an account to activate the program. If you are using the free trial, your trial period for ON1 Photo RAW may have expired. You WILL NOT need to click the "Renew License" option to fix this error. Simply enter the email address that you used to purchase and your password and click the blue "Sign In" button.
"MAX ACTIVATIONS EXCEEDED: Please contact ON1 to purchase more activations for this product. (-8)
***IMPORTANT NOTE***
You no longer need to contact ON1 Support to reset your activations. You will be able to reset your activations from within your user account, or simply by clicking on the "Deactivate All" link.

Unknown return code 0, please contact support. (-13)
This error indicates some kind of conflict or interruption in our application's communication to the activation website. As the error message indicates, please contact ON1 Support so that we can better investigate this issue. If you do not have an internet connection, you can use the offline activation method.
