Older Plugins can be removed from the following locations for Photoshop and Lightroom on Mac computers.
Note: plugins are stored in two different Library locations that are different for Photoshop and Lightroom.
Photoshop:
Plugins can be found in this folder location found in the System Library on the Macintosh HD:
Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC
You can remove older plugins from this location by removing or deleting them from this CC folder location. (You may be prompted to enter your Mac Admin Password)
If you can't find your Macintosh HD, go to the Finder>Settings and enable:
Show these Items on the Desktop: Hard Disks
After enabling this setting, you should then see your Macintosh HD on your Desktop.
You can then double-click on the Macintosh HD to navigate to the System Library location.
Lightroom:
Plugins can be found in this folder location found in the Hidden User Library.
To get to the Hidden User Library, click the GO menu in the Finder while holding down the Option Key on your Keyboard. (You won't see the Library unless you're holding down the Option Key)
Lightroom Plugins are found in two locations in the Hidden User Library:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/External Editor Presets
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Modules
