ON1 Photo RAW MAX 2025 Plugins With Affinity Photo

Using ON1 Plugins with Affinity Photo

ON1 Photo RAW MAX 2025 plugins can be accessed from within Affinity Photo, providing an integrated, round-trip workflow of your images on both MacOS and Windows. To use the ON1 Photo RAW MAX 2025 plugins within Affinity Photo, you must first activate the plugins from within Affinity Photo.

ACTIVATING PLUGINS FOR USE WITH AFFINITY PHOTO (WINDOWS)

1. To setup ON1 as a plugin on Windows, go first to Edit > Preferences and click on the Photoshop Plugins icon.
2. Check the ‘Allow “unknown” plugins to be used’ box at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click the Add button under and navigate to:
   C:\Program Files\ON1\ ON1 Photo RAW 2025\Plug-ins Files
   
   * Note if you have Adobe Photoshop installed you can also point to Photoshop's Plugin folder path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC

4. When you click on the Close button, Affinity Photo will prompt you to restart the app. After restarting you will now see your plugins listed in the Detected Plugins section.

You can locate them under Filters>Plugins>ON1 Menu.

ACTIVATING PLUGINS FOR USE WITH AFFINITY PHOTO (MacOS)

Setting Affinity Photo up for MacOS is nearly identical to the Windows activation. There is only one additional step.

1. Go first to Preferences, located in the Affinity Photo menu on the top left. Click on the Photoshop Plugins icon.
2. Check the ‘Allow “unknown” plugins to be used’ box at the bottom of the screen.
   
3. Click on the Authorize Global button at the bottom of the window. MacOS will present you with a dialog box that shows the root folder of your system. Click on the Authorize button in this box.
4. Click on the Add button underneath the Plugin Search Folders area, and navigate to Applications/ ON1 Photo RAW 2025/Plug-in Files/ Click OK.
   * Note if you have Adobe Photoshop installed you can also point to Photoshop's Plugin folder path: MacintoshHD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC
   
   
5. When you click on the Close button, Affinity Photo will prompt you to restart the app. When you do this, you will now see your plugins listed in the Detected Plugins section.
