This article will walk you through the click-by-click process of using the Bliss Holiday Pack. The Bliss Holiday pack consists of cards and overlays that you will be able to use to create a Christmas or Holiday card within the Layers module of ON1 Photo RAW 2019. If you have not already downloaded the Bliss Holiday pack you will be able to download it here.
Important Note: The Bliss Holiday Pack cards and overlays are 5x7.
After downloading the Bliss Holiday Pack, you should see two folders:
The "Cards" folder holds the card templates and the "Overlays" folder contains holiday style text overlays.
How to Use the Card Templates:
Open your favorite card template by navigating to the Bliss Holiday Pack folder.
Once you've chosen a template, add in your photo as a layer.
In Edit, above the Develop, Effects, Portrait, and Local tabs, you will find the "+" Add Layer option:
A new dialog will appear. Choose "Add Layer".
Choose your image and select "Add as Layer"
Use the move tool to resize the photo to fit the card template location. You may need to crop your image. If you are using a template with a square hole, you will want to crop your photos square before adding as a layer to your card template.
How to Use the Overlays:
Overlays: Open a photo into Develop. Using the crop tool, crop to a 5x7 size.
Add a new layer and navigate to your overlay of choice. After clicking on the "+" Add Layer button, a dialog box will appear, simply click the "Add as Layer" option:
Use the move tool to put the overlay in a different spot if needed.
And that's it! You now have holiday cards featuring your own photos to pass out this season.
Export your photos for easy sharing. To open the Export panel, click the Export icon in the lower right corner of the module selector, or choose Export from the File menu.
