New with ON1 PHOTO RAW 2020 we have made performance enhancements to better utilize higher end graphics cards.
Having changed how ON1 PHOTO RAW 2020 now utilizes the GPU, this can also affect output and performance when lower end Intel chipsets are uses or older video cards that do not have current drivers installed.
We need current drivers with these lower end chipsets in order for ON1 PHOTO RAW 2020 to function correctly. But lower-end Intel chipsets are not dedicated graphics processors and will use shared memory with the system.
This can cause a variety of issues from blank or black previews, exports that do not contain original edits, missing previews in the app and print window, etc.
If you are using an Intel chipset or older video card, you may need to disable the GPU Render option in the ON1 PHOTO RAW 2020>Preferences>System Pane
After making these changes quit and restart the app.
Disabling the GPU Render option can most often correct these issues when using ON1 PHOTO RAW 2020 with lower end Intel chipsets or older graphics cards that don't have current drivers.
It is always a good idea to visit the video card manufacturers website to get the very latest drivers as Windows updates do not always update the video card drivers to the very latest.
