The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found

If you are getting this error, it is due to Microsoft Runtime libraries not being installed on your computer.
 
You will want to download and install these libraries from the links below:
 
Microsoft 2010 Runtime from here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632



(If you get a message that you have a newer version installed, skip the 2010 and install latest Runtimes from the link below)

And the latest Runtime libraries for 2015. 2017, 2019 here (x64) :

Once you’ve installed these Microsoft libraries you should be able to reinstall Portrait AI without further issue.
