Using ON1 2022 Products with Apple Photos
ON1 Effects 2022, ON1 NoNoise AI 2022, and ON1 Portrait AI 2022 integrate tightly with Apple Photos (for Mac OS only) for enhancing your images.
Note: Apple Photos Extensions are not included in ON1 Photo RAW 2022. Functionality has changed from previous versions. Starting with version 2022, support for Apple Photos is only available when using ON1 Effects 2022, ON1 NoNoise AI 2022, or ON1 Portrait AI 2022. These apps are also bundled together in the Professional Plugin Bundle 2022.
Activating ON1 from Extensions
If you have Photos on your computer when you install ON1 Effects, ON1 NoNoise AI, or ON1 Portrait AI, the appropriate plug-in will be installed, but you will need to manually activate it in order to use it. To do so, go to Apple’s System Preferences and click on the Extensions icon. In the Extensions pane, click on Photos, then check the ON1 Effects, ON1 NoNoise AI, and ON1 Portrait AI options. This will let you send images from Apple Photos to ON1 Effects, ON1 NoNoise AI, and ON1 Portrait AI. (File Sharing must also be turned on in System Preferences for this to work.)

Note: Only ON1 Effects, ON1 NoNoise AI, and ON1 Portrait AI versions 2022 are compatible with Apple Photos. ON1 HDR 2022, ON1 Resize 2022, and ON1 Photo RAW 2022 are not supported.

Troubleshooting
When you install ON1, the appropriate plug-ins should be installed automatically. You may first need to launch the standalone version of ON1 before seeing the option to add ON1 in your Extensions.
