PR2023 crashes completely after modifying keyword settings
AnsweredDuring the last fortnight I operated PR2023 successfully without any problems.
Today th app crashed completely. After deselecting hierarchical keyword settings PR2023 reported a writing error. So I closed the app and restarted it. Thereafter it did not react anymore and showed the spinning wheel continuously.
In addition it did not allow a forced quit as the PR2023 menu bar blocked the access to the apple menu. So I had to apply a forced quit for the mac.
After restarting PR2023 the app showed again the spinning wheel and blocked the apple menu and menu bars of other apps I could start (e.g. firefox).
Also a reinstallation of PR2023 (without first removing the existing program) did not help.
Any idea on what else can be done? Thanks in advance.

First of all, you can Force Quit any program whether or not you can see any menus. Press Command-Option-Esc and you'll be presented with a dialog showing all running programs. Just select the one you want to quit and press the Return key or click the Force Quit button.
The first thing to try whenever the program starts misbehaving is to Delete Settings and if that doesn't work use Reset ON1 Photo RAW.

"Delete Settings" was successful.
When switching between big catalogs the note "updating browse" appears in the bottom line and when selecting big catalogs the note "loading metadata". It seems advisable not to continue work as long as this is shown, at least not to modify a large amount of keyword settings.
Thanks for your help.
