Photo Raw 2023 installed but will not launch
AnsweredI downloaded and installed Photo Raw 2023 last week, but when I tried to launch the program, it aborted within seconds (however, the version of Photo Raw 2022 on my machine continued to launch and function normally). Removed the 2023 install from the computer, turned off anti-virus and firewall, downloaded and installed again with the same results.
Sent program and computer log rpts to ON1 sppt, who suggested downloading a different ver. of the Nvidia driver - which did not correct the issue with Photo Raw 2023; but now my copy of 2022 no longer will launch, and aborts within seconds like 2023 is doing.
Running a notebook with Windows 11, an AMD Ryzen 4000 Series 9, and Nvidia geForce RTX 2060 graphics card.
Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, have you found a fix for it?

I don't know if you'll be able to get in to it, but try Deleting settings for 2022 or 2023. Delete settings won't do any damage. If you can delete the settings but it doesn't help, try a reset on 2023. This will also remove any catalogs and Albums.
Don't reset 2022 unless there is no other option as that will remove any extras and you'll have to re-install them.

If you're not able to access delete mode, your only option left is to do a clean install, probably of both versions.

Have you tried installing and running On1 as an "administrator"? Right-click, and run as administrator.
Something similar happened to me. This is different from 2022 (backward step IMO).

I think I was able to solve the issue. We have two laptops running with AMD Ryzen 7 and 9 and dedicated graphic cards from Nvidia. It seems that it is not the problem of the dedicated Nvidia graphic card driver but of the AMD Vega graphic driver.
Try to install the latest AMD drivers via this download https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-5-1. After that ON1 2023 should run if you start it as an administrator.
It might be that Windows re-installs an older AMD generic driver from 2020 via Windows Update. Than you need to re-install the latest AMD driver.

THANK YOU!!! Your suggested resolution was spot-on. The updated AMD drivers resolved the issue, and ON1 PhotoRaw 2023 now launches.

Good to hear! ON1 Support was not able to provide a solution, yet. And I was wondering if my solution works for others.
Greetings from Germany!
