On1 Raw 2023 - Using the Zoom tool to zoom to specific area
AnsweredI have a photo on "fit" view, the Zoom tool selected. I hoover the zoom tool to the face of the subject in the photo, but when I click to zoom, it zooms at "100%" in the middle of the picture. I want to zoom exactly when the zoom tool is positioned when clicked on. How do I do that?
I prefer not to use the navigation tool to move the zoom window around after pressing zoom.

The Zoom tool should zoom to the point clicked on. Try the Delete Settings procedure.

Yes, deleting the setting fixed the problem. I got this option after relaunching the app. I selected "Zoom-In."
I might have experienced this issue as I did upgrade from 2022 to 2023 ( who knows, but its working now)
Thank you !

I spoke too soon. The same behavior I had before is happening again - I can zoom in on a specific area. Browse module or edit module

If Delete Settings didn't solve the problem you'll have to talk to tech support, sorry.

I get this now and again, and have done for several releases; restarting the program usually fixes it. I have just learnt to live with it, just one of the many little irritations.

@Gerry, thank you for chime-in. I am experiencing this annoying issue. I thought it was my poor setup, but I guess it is the other way around.

Hmmm, my one HUGE bugbear regarding ON1 PR is no mouse wheel zoom...... I love the software, but continually end up using Neo just because it has this function...... really frustrating.....

Derek, in preferences...
This works in Edit too.
