Disappointment about nonoise AI

since the update to 17.0.1.12965 I can work reasonably well with PR, but unfortunately the quality of the images processed with nonoise AI is more bad than good. I have to say that I edit a lot of old jpg and png images at the moment. Unfortunately I also have to use Topaz Denoise for this job because the image quality is much better. Also the resizing of the images is better with Topaz gigapixel. With RAW images it is another matter, there nonoise AI and Resize AI give better results. I hope that with the next upgrades remedy is created so that I only have to work with one program.

When applying NNAI to non raw files are you using the High Detail setting? It is optimized for pixel images like jpeg and tiff while the Original setting is meant for raw images.

I'm glad I could help. I highly recommend downloading the User Guide. Even if you don't sit down and read it (also recommended! 😉) you have it for a reference for this type of question. You can use the PDF reader's search feature to quickly find out about the individual topic at hand.

That does make things more difficult. I didn't realize your native language is German. You'll have to ask the company if they are planning on producing the User Guide in other languages than English.

Brian, can we get your comments including all comment in French through an internet translater as a choice, from ON1 ?
It could solve many problems for the ON1 owners in this community.

Je ne crois pas que Brian y puisse grand-chose, il faudrait faire une pétition signée par tous les utilisateurs francophones (et d'après ce que je lis parfois, autres german, spanish etc) pour avoir un manuel d'utilisateur traduit, et si possible BIEN traduit. Celui en français remonte à la version 2020, avec pas mal de fautes, vocabulaire spécifique à la photo hasardeux, de même que les versions successives de PR ("localized") emploient toujours des termes bêtement traduits par une AI sans doute !

Claude, I'm not sure I understand what you are asking for. What Giles wrote is true though. I am to an ON1 employee and I have no more pull than any other user.

A cause d’un petit erreur typographique dans la version anglaise du commentaire de Brian, la traduction n’est pas exacte. Au lieu de dire « je suis un employée On1 » je suis certain qu’il voulait dire « je ne suis pas un employée On1 … »
Cela dit, même si les traductions « Google » ne sont pas toujours parfait (comme mon français 😇), je trouve ca impressionnant de voir l’effort de Brian, Rick et d’autres de répondre aux commentaires peu importe la langue d’origine.
