Anat, it could be heat related.  If your CPU and or GPU are getting too hot they could be throttling back.

My laptop gets so hot with PR I have to put a fan pad under it.

    Just a thought.

Thanks Keith Neff, I will try to keep PC cool by providing fan.

If Photo Raw is really slowing down after two hours, then you should be able to close the program and when it restarts, theoretically, it would be fast again. If it actually works that way, you could report that to On1 tech support, but if it doesn't speed up after restarting, then as Keith suggests, it may not be Photo Raw causing the problem.

One more suggestion, I was just editing on my laptop and it was really having a hard time, just selecting a slider took a few seconds.  Tried exiting the program then opening back up, but that didn't seem much better.  Rebooted and restored programs like the browser and email, relaunched PR and it was much more responsive.  Worth a try.

Thanks, Rick Sammartino. I will first check whether it's due PC CPU heating. I also tried restarting PR, it showed little improvement. Today, I noticed my Poto Setting cache was showing 9.24GB text file. I moved it to other location, same thing happened again!
