Some screenshots showing us what is going one would be very helpful.

Other have complained about edits not being saved, but not sure if your issue is the same.

Have you tried taking a snapshot after your masking to see if the edits get retained that way?

I will redo the edits and grab some screenshots.

I have tried taking a snapshot after the masking and it still isn't retained. :(

Also, please give a more details explanation on how you are creating and editing the mask.

I created the adjustment by using super select AI... and selecting the deer. Super select leaves out lower part of legs, left ear, antlers... so I manually add these back in (sloppy work attached because it hasn't been saving). Image on the right is the exported JPG. Image on the left it what I see in ON1.

There are two different masks - one has the deer selected and is relighting the deer, a second mask is everything but the deer darkening the image. I have adjusted both masks.

I saved a version - and the version immediately shows the mask missing. See attached screenshot

I don't see anything wrong with the workflow. Unless Brian has an idea, I think you need to report this to On1 support. You can attach these screenshots to the trouble ticket.

I agree with Rick. This is something you'll need to work with tech support to resolve. Other users have reported missing edits but it isn't a problem I have seen so I don't have any ideas, sorry.
