Can't make content aware crop work after transform
AnsweredThe horizon in my photo was not straight so I rotated the image a small amount in the transform tool. Now of course I have some white areas in the corners. I select crop and content aware but the white areas are not filled in. Surely this is the principle usage case for content-aware crop.
Anyone else able to get this to work?

Do not use the Transform tool. Just use the crop tool to do the rotation then Content Aware Fill will work.

Thanks. If you straighten in the crop tool it works.
However, it isn't only straightening where content aware fill is useful. If you need to fix an image for perspective I can't see any choice but to use the transform tool.

You're right, changes to perspective have to be done with the Transform tool. However, it does not support the content aware fill.

Shame. That is one of the most obvious uses for it as sometimes the other fix (scaling) isn't possible.

As always with ON1 products, things are only halfway thought and halfway implemented...
That's the main reason, why I've been doing 90 % of my photo editing in DxO PhotoLab 6 instead of ON1 Photo RAW. I'm hugely disappointed by ON1, almost as much as by Skylum.0
