On1 RAW 2023 don't start up , asking for vulkan 1.1. Graphics Intel HD620

  I don't think Photo Raw will work with HD 620. 

  These are the required specs for Graphics. Minimum on the left.

  I have first downloaded the trial versions of Photo Raw 2023 and Nonoise 2023 plugin and it worked o.k.

  Than I purchased both and they worked very well too.

  There came an update to Windows 11 and open GL dit not work in Photoshop. On1 programs worked still well.

  I did an update of the graphic driver and open GL worked o.k.

  BUT both on1 apps dit not work anymore till now.

  I had the same problem with my HP laptop, a Core i7 6700HQ 6th generation processor with Intel HD  530 graphics. The HP supplied drivers were using old Intel drivers, last updated in 2019, and were using Vulkan v1.0.4, or something like that.

  Running the latest drivers from Intel in the executable provided resulted in a "Use the Manufacturer supplied drivers" error.

  However, I did find a HP support page which showed how to install the latest generic Intel Windows DCH drivers on to my laptop. I now have Vulkan v1.3 on my laptop, and I can run the On1 Professional Plugins 2023.

  The drivers are not HP specific, but I can't guarantee this method will work on your device, but at least you could investigate the possibility of using them. You need to download the zip file and not the exe. The file can be used for any 5xx/6xx, Iris and Iris Xe graphics devices The instructions also show how to keep your Intel drivers up to date automatically after making the change by installing the Intel Driver and Support Assistant.

  Stuart Threlfall, thank you.

  I followed te instructions, it dit not work.

  BUT....

  I dit go back to the former driver and now it works!

  On1 RAW 2023 works and the nonise 2023 plugin works.

  I have installed the new updates and they work too!
