Yes, that is correct. 10.15 is the minimum needed OS now.

There is a workaround. Use a Virtual Machine to run your older OS. VirtualBox is free.

Brian, My past experience with emulators has been sluggish performance but I can try virtualbox and see how it does. The other thought is to upgrade to macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and see how LR 6 works since it is already installed. I would hope that if it does not go well I can use Time Machine to go back to my previous OS, Mojave. I am not too concerned about CS6, just LR 6. I still have a catalog of slides that I have never been able to export to PR successfully. Maybe it is time to try again with PR 2023. Also, I hope the minimum OS requirement will not be a problem. Thanks for the link.

I read that if I update to macOS Catalina 10.15.6 I will not be able to uninstall LR6. Is this correct? If so will virtualbox uninstall LR6?

I have no idea. Questions about Lightroom should be directed to Adobe.

I think where folks say LR 6 cannot be uninstalled in Catalina, they are referring to the fact that the 32 bit Adobe installer/uninstaller will not run. I switched to On1 before upgrading to Catalina but ran LR 6 for a short time as a bit of an experiment. Even though I could not run the Uninstall program, I was able to manually delete LR 6 from my iMac (I don’t recall the specific steps, I more or less stumbled through it). The bigger risk in using LR 6 with Catalina is that it is not possible to reinstall it if ever that’s needed.

I may not want to uninstall LR 6 if all goes well. I do want to try PR 2023 and see if I can migrate my LR catalog to PR otherwise I need my LR catalog.  Eventually I will need to find a way to get my LR edits out of LR. Brian, I do not believe Adobe has any real support that I am aware of other than go to a forum. Richard, thanks for the link.
