Location of program data
I've read that it is better to designate a different drive for the ON1 ProgramData (not App Data) other than the drive where the Photo Raw Application resides. Any truth to this?

I think you're confusing ProgramData with PerfectBrowseCache. While there are ON1 files in ProgramData, they aren't large and not critical for speed. My PerfectBrowseCache is about 50gig in size, so if you were running out of room or wanted to move it to a faster drive, that's an option. You would do that in Photo Raw, not in Windows.

Thanks, Rick. I already have my browse cache and my scratch disk set to another drive. I had seen a video on this site that suggested the ProgramData would benefit from the same. I looked at the files contained in the folder and didn't see that they contained anything but data; so I couldn't see how putting it on another drive would improve anything. Thank you for confirming this.

If you have a link to that video, I wouldn't mind seeing it just to see what they are talking about.

I just noticed your request this morning. I have spent some time trying to find the video but no luck so far. I have watched a number of them in the past week and with no history of those I've seen it's slow going. I know it was a video by Hudson Henry but I can't remember in which one he mentioned this subject. I will look some more in the next day or two.

It's not that important, don't waste a lot of time looking.
