Export with resize
AnsweredI have tried to export and resize an image from current dimension 4032x2268px to 6707x2299px. This means that the new aspect ratio is different from the old one. Of course with no white borders or with a cropped image.
I thought that choosing the options 'Dimensions' with the new width and height and 'Fit in Dimensions' would do the job. But it didn't.
None of the possible combinations of options work for me. Has anyone already made such an export?

You can't resize with either AI Resize or in Export to different dimensions that you started with. On1 will ALWAYS retain the original ratio. If you try to enter different ratio, it will crop your image to match which is not what you wanted.
If you want an image with a different ratio, you need to do that in Edit with the Transform tool. You can change the canvas size to whatever ratio you want, then stretch the image to match it. You won't need resize at all unless the image needs to be larger.
As an example, this image is 4x6. I've increased the canvas on top and bottom, now I can pull the edges of the image to match it.

You can also use the Fit Image button to fill the resized canvas with the image. It's at the far right end of the tool options at the top of the screen
