    I don't know why conditions seem to change for no reason. You can try the Delete settings instructions below. If that doesn't help, you might want to report the problem to ON1 support.

    Thanks Rick -tried your suggestion. No luck I'm afraid!

    FYI Before your advice I tried AI again on a different image. . This time it partially filled a mask which I added to using refine brush and it was succesful.

    Is it just a few images or all of them?

    I've had the Mask AI be really peculiar with some images and work great with others.

    Hi. It is one particular image where the masked area should cover a pure white background. The super select does the selection (red mask) and after clicking it again covers the selection OK (blue). I then attempt to apply a texture which then only partially covers the masked area. I have tested out on conventional images such as a landscape and the select tool works well and any effects apply evenly across masked area. All I can thnk of is that a pure white background throws the layering off?
