I have used the Effects plugin and it works, except that you have to repeat the effect to get it to show in Photoshop Elements! It seems to work the 2nd time, not the 1st time. Like it needs a kick in the shins?? So, who does one complain to? Adobe or ON1?

Have you checked the documentation to be sure it's set up right?

here is an article that might help...

Yes, the setup is correct. I think the issue is with PSE, not ON1. When you hit the "Done" button in ON1, you are immediately taken back to PSE, but the "effect/border/whatever" does NOT show on the main edit panel, but it does show in the Layers panel! If you hit "Save" in PSE, then when the screen shows as to options, then the main edit shows the "effect/border/whatever" you did in ON1 Effects. Works the same way in Noise, which is the other plugin that I use. I also think that not using Smart Objects in PSE may help too. In any case, you get a whole new way of messing with your photos!!!

And a followup. Did a reinstall. This time I finally noted that if you click on the returned photo in PSE, then the changes from ON1 Plugins show themselves. Anyway, it does work!
