Double pin line?

Hi

Is it possible to add a double pin line to a border in ON1 Effects 2023? One inset further than the first...

  Yes, but it's not part of the border filter, so you'll have to create it yourself. You can either do a one off for your current edit, or you can create the border and save it as a separate file that you can import it to the border filter for future use. Either way, it's not a two minute job and will take a bit of effort.

  While you CAN do it, Effects isn't a drawing program and doesn't have any way to measure the lines, so you'll have to do that by eye. The easy part is that you can draw straight lines by clicking one end and shift clicking the other to draw a line between the two points.

  The basic steps would be like this:

  • Create a color fill layer in whatever color you want the pinline to be and place it behind your current photo.
  • Use a masking brush with no feather and draw the lines in the LAYER mask over your image to allow the color fill to show through.
