How Can I Remove a Photo from Browse W/O Deleting?

Hi, I have a purchased stand alone version of ON1 Photo Raw 2023 w/ Plugins for my Late 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max. I'd like to know how I can remove a photo in Browse and/or ON1 in general without deleting the original file on my HD? The only option I see is for deleting it when I right click on the photo in Browse. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks

You can’t hide a photo from the Browser. That’s why it is called the Browser; it allows you to browse through your folders contents. 😉

Thank you Brian, Thanks for clearing this up.... I now understand that this is giving me a direct look into my folders, files, etc. on my MacBook and HD's. Another question; Is there a way to import photos into ON1 as an alias, leaving the original photo files non-destructive in place? Thanks again. 🤔

Photo Raw itself is non-destructive. Just leave your photos in their normal folders on your PC. When PR opens a photo, it creates a set of edits that are not applied until you export and then a new edited photo is created.
You should read up on how Photo Raw works in the user guide. You can find it and other info here...

You might also want to know that Photo RAW's Import command does not have to be used. It just copies your images from the SSD card/camera to a destination folder on your drive. You can do the same thing with the Finder. It does have the advantage of allowing you to add Keywords and other metadata right at import time rather than doing it later. It will also copy to a 2nd, backup location if you choose.

If you want to hide images while in Browse then you can use the Filter option at the bottom of the screen to modify which images are displayed.
For example if you want to weed out images you could filter on un-picked images by clicking on the open heart option, then pick images you want to hide by selecting them and using P key, they will then vanish from the Browse views. You can reset the filter by clicking on the circular arrow at right end of filter, or just click on the open heart again.
Other options include using the star ratings.
For a permanent, but flexible, way of hiding images in a folder you could set up a Smart Album whose search criteria are to match all the options with first one being File Path to the folder and the second a means of identifying the required images, unpicked using the example above.
