On1 not quitting return to photoshop

I use photoshop --> automate to access 2023 Effects and other modules on1 modules.When I apply changes & return, the On1 software does not quit. Is there a fix or setting to quit On1 on return? Running MacOS 13.1 Ventura on a couple of different Macs.

  In Preferences > Plug-ins there is a setting to have ON1 Effects remain open when Done. Turn that off.
