  Get all the opinions you like, what I told you is what you need to know. If anyone recommends you get an Intel system abandon that site immediately! Apple is going to stop supporting Intel systems in the next year or two. After that there will be no more OS updates and more importantly, no more security patches.

  As Photo RAW progresses with newer features which will require more from the system, if you are on an Intel system you will be left behind.
