Using Loupedeck CT with Photo RAW 2023
Hi all,
As part of my project to move away from LR, I am keen to expand on the basic Loupedeck profile that was published some time ago.
The On1-published profile has some basic editing adjustments (implemented through virtual keyboard shortcuts), but there are a few concerns:
- some of the adjustments happen too quickly (increments for each arrow key are too large)
- doesn't seem to be a way to use the 'button' function of the Loupedeck rotary controls to re-set the slider to zero (in the same way that double clicking with mouse on the slider resets it to zero).
So some questions:
- Is there some way to change the adjustment increments that each arrow-key-press represents in the develop module (for example: the contrast tool (Alt + W) moves in increments of '5' per arrow press using the keyboard shortcut, which is too large - can I adjust this increment?)?
- Is there a keyboard shortcut to reset each slider to zero (or can I create one) in the same way that double-clicking on the word 'contrast' resets the contrast slider (for example) to its midpoint?
Thanks.

Happy New Year Richard,
The first thing you should know is that you are not talking to the company here, just other users like yourself how are willing to help when they can.
As to your questions, no, there is no way to adjust the increments assigned to Arrow-key presses. You can click in the numerical field for the slider then arrow press go to 1.
No, there isn't any keyboard shortcut to reset the sliders to zero either.

More support for external controllers would be useful, I have loopback live and have some functionality integrated with it, but it could be so much more useful with additional integration (even if that is just by exposing more features to have keyboard shortcuts)
It is annoying that there are inconsistancies between modes, i.e. you can select the sliders for shadow, black etc. in the main develop module, but these don't work for local adjustments. Having no way to reset from a shortcut limits the ease of use / integration)

Do you know that you can add Hotkeys to most of Photo RAW's menu commands? Go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts to open a window that lets you add new or modify existing shortcuts. See page 12 in the User Guide for details.

Brian Lawson, I am using the keyboard shortcuts, but for shadow/black/exposure etc.. the shortcuts only change the base tone settings and not ones in a local adjustment (even when your doing a local adjustment).
Ideally access to the internal API to control ON1 from a Loupedeck plugin (or other controller) would be ideal, allowing the device to know the current context and therefore acting upon the correct controls.
I suspect there is some inconsistencies introduced by the fact that each on1 module is probably a codebase of its own to make it easier to produce the plugin varients but does not aid the consistency for the all in one application

I agree with all your points. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to do anything about them. You should bring that up with tech support.
