    There isn't much to go on that's why! Since posting it, what I've come to realise is that this constant background processing is probably the reason my ON1 works so slowly. What started as an observation may actually be the reason that stops me using the software more. I may dig further now.

    The ONLY time I've seen ON1 using that much CPU is when it's building catalogs. Just wait for them to finish and the CPU will settle down after that. The catalogs will still need to be updated occasionally, but it won't take as long.

    Thank you Rick. I'm hoping that's the case. I've put in a request as well. This is many weeks now and with me leaving the PC on 24hours - it's taken longer than when I first migrated over to ON1.
