NoNoise, (not Denoise) is already part of Photo Raw. The NoNoise plugin is for use with other programs (like Luminar) and not needed with Photo Raw.

You can get the user guides here...

Note: ALL of the plugins are already part of Photo Raw. If you have Photo Raw, then you have all of the tools, but without the ability to plug directly into other programs.

I would use NoNoise AI as Rick has suggested but if you really want to use the Topaz Denoise AI program you should load its Photoshop plug-in into Photo RAW's Photoshop Plugins folder. You can get to it by opening Preferences > Plug-ins and clicking the Open Default Folder button.

Once you've copied the plug-in there quit Photo RAW and relaunch it. Now you can access the Topaz software through the Editor's Filters > Topaz Labs > Topaz DeNoise AI… command.

Using plug-ins is covered on page 8 of the User Guide.

Thanks for the help. I was mixing my terminologies between denoise and nonoise.. On1 is faster and easier for that. Slowly finding my way through this. What I haven't been able to find is a way to see the Highlights and dark area, often called blinkies..is there a setting for that or a way to see the histogram?

Playing with keyboard shortcuts and I tried control Y to get split screen and now I can't get out of it..I want to get back to the editing screen. What am i missing? Is there another way besides the keyboard to get in and out of settings?

    Windows 10

The User Guide has all the answers to your questions. 😉

Yes, you can see blown out highlights and shadows and view the histogram. You must be viewing it to see the over/under exposure highlighting. In either the Browser or the Editor click on the Levels tab in the right side column. Now you can press the J key to see them while the key is pressed, or you can click either of the boxes in the top corners of the Histogram or press Alt/Option-J to lock them on or turn them off.

Split-screen just press Control-Y once again to turn it off. The hotkey is a toggle.

I'm unsure of exactly what you mean by "settings". The program's Preferences command is in the Edit menu.

You should really consider downloading the PDF and at least browse through it if not actually read it. With the PDF you can search for terms like "preferences" or "settings" or "split-screen" and go right to the relevent pages.
