Expanding canvas size

Hi all,

I have some images to be printed in a magazine at A4 size which has a 3mm safe zone all around the image for printing.  Some of my images go all the way to the edge of the frame.
If I try to increase the canvas size by the 3 mm  is that a possible solution?  if so how do I do that ?

  You can change the Canvas size with the File > Canvas Size command. However, there will not be anything to fill the new canvas area. I don't know how that will print.

  Have you considered just adding a plain white Border? That would give you the 3mm safe zone.
