Rendering of Monochrome DNG files
I inherited a Leica Q2 monochrome camera which generates only BW photos.
No problems importing , editing whatsoever.
However when I want to look at my photos in browser , the rendering (fully loading of sharpness and No Noise )is not seen.
Reported this to Stevie and he replied that the app was not build for that purpose.
This sounds strange to me as normal raw files don’t have this issue.
DNG from raw (converted) and normal DNG (Leica) don’t have this either.
I can only fully see the rendering while opening the photo in the edit mode.
I think this is strange. How further or just accept or back to Lightroom?

When you hover over the badge on your photo, it will say that NoNoise is not shown in preview. It's just the preview that's not updated, any full view or export will appear properly. This has always been the case and is nothing new.

Rick , It’s not about the preview , but looking at the photo in full view in browser!
When I open a photo full view in browser, normally the sharpness is being rendered .Sometimes , it takes a time , but in the end you can see the result of editing.

Then either there are restrictions that I'm not aware of, or Stevie didn't properly understand the problem. You might want to add more info to your trouble ticket and ask for clarification. You can access your ticket from this page, click your name above and select 'My Activities'. If the ticket is closed, just re-open it.

with DNG Monochrom not the caseYou might want to send them a screen recording showing the difference between how the DNG vs RAW files are being displayed in Photo View so they can see what you are seeing.
