performance ON1 on Mac

I have a Mac from 2019 with specs indicated on the photo.

The app goed fast ion general but quite slow with larger raw files.

Do you think is best to increase Ram memory from actual 16 to 32 Gb?

 

This is my actual 2019 mac :

Processor : 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5

Graphics : Radeon Pro 570X 4 GB

Memory : 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

  The way to know if you need more RAM is to watch Photo RAW's memory usage in Activity Monitor. If you are actually filling up the 16GB you currently have then more _might_ help. A newer graphics card would probably help even more.

  Ok Thanks , it is strange but even opening a 56 Mb CRW file takes 16 Gb in Ram memory
