Using refine brush ON1 2023 quits

I'm going to let tech support handle this one. There isn't much I can do when the program is crashing.

FWIW, Delete Settings is always the first step to take when the program starts misbehaving. Support is going to recommend you do that as a first step too. Corrupt preferences files can cause all kinds of weird issues with programs, not just Photo RAW but all programs. Delete Settings just deletes not preferences files and replaces them with new files set to the program's defaults. If other problems are happening some time after you've done this there is something else going on with your system that I cannot address.

If I understand you right, the best way to use ON1 PR is to open it first with alt key, delete settings before beginning browse, edit etc...

Just stupid (not you !) the workflow, 30 years on Mac, plenty of apps (professionals architecture, leasure photo, PAO, CAO, text editors...), ON1 is the only one so unstable since 2019-20-21-22-23 versions (and as well using previous Mac OS Big Sur, Catalina, Monterey, Ventura and even more old).

As I wrote, I'm waiting for Tech support answer (I guess their first suggestion will be "delete settings !!!)

Have a good day (here it's night).

No, I do not recommend doing that each and every time you launch the program. While it won't hurt anything it is a PITA to have to keep resetting your personal preferences before you start your editing session. I don't know about you but I have customized my settings quite a bit and it does take some time to get everything reset the way I like. Delete Settings should be used only when the program starts misbehaving. As long as everything is working correctly there isn't any need for it.

I agree that Photo RAW is more sensitive than most other programs I've used but even Photoshop has a way to reset its preferences for exactly the same reason.
