You're going to have to be much more specific. There are many ways and which one you choose will depend upon the photo you're working on and your skill level with the program. You've basically asked us how to edit your photo without allowing us to see it.

I don't mean to sound dismissive or rude. I'd like to help. (Probably tomorrow, it's 1:30 AM and I'm going to bed 😀) A screen shot of the image you're working on will go a long way for us to give some more directed help beyond generalities like lean masking, etc.

    Hi Brian,
Thnx for fast reply. I did not have a specific photo in mind.  I read this article -->
    https://www.photowhoa.com/deals/photoshop-compositing/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=moosend&utm_campaign=2nd-Mail-Photoshop-Compositing-Match-Subject-with-Background-16Mar-23-7C&cmid=af6b09c8-2461-434a-95c2-299075bfc6a2

I was triggered by the contents ;... but it is written for PS.
There fore I was wondering if you could do the same in on1?
And if it was possible ... "how to achieve"???

As far as I could imagine (roughly)
1- it is isolating the subject
2- put it against another background

What I was looking for: is it possible to match the "subject(s)" against the real existing background?

Hope you had a good night (short) ;-)

Yes, the same thing can be done in Photo RAW. There are videos on compositing in the training section of the ON1.com website. How to Blend Layers in a Composite There is another one you can find by searching for "compositing" but it is for Plus members. You can find more videos on this subject on YouTube. Search for Scott Davenport's channel. He produces a lot of ON1 specific training videos and he does a great job with them.
