Curious about older stability issues
Long time Windows On1 user. Over the years I have had issues with the database and stability and because of that have just stopped using certain features. I from time to time just lost my albums. They were just gone and I stopped creating them. I had the lost edits issue which seems to be better. I had trouble with drag and dropping photos and folders. I now do that with my file editor instead.A lot of these issues were 1 or 2 versions back, and I wonder if there are still lots of database and file issues which are still problematic and are still unresolved. Unfortunately, On1 rarely lets the user know it has fixed a bug, even if the ackowlege a bug exits.

I think most of those problems at all has been fixed, but my suggestion would be that you download the trial version and play with it for a couple weeks and see whether or not it meets your needs

I am using 2023.1 and it seems to me to be more stable. I am just not using the internal file handling, file renaming, albums or catalogs. These are features that have been problematic in the past. I love the overall structure of On1 and so have stayed with it. I would love to begin using albums again but after losing them all 2 or 3 times, it gets a bit old. I havent lost a file edit recently and if that recurs, I am going to have to seriously reevaluate.
I wish On1 was more transparent in letting us know which bugs they thought they had corrected.
