All ON1 products are compatible with Ventura. I'm running 13.3.1 myself.

I don't know what might have caused the installer to fail. You'll have to contact Tech Support about that.

I can suggest that you try booting into Safe Mode and see if it works there. If it does, that would point to some extension or other software you've installed which is running in the background that could be interfering with the installer for some reason. Also, make sure you've disabled any anti-virus software while running installer.

Oh, I missed the 2019 part, sorry. Which Mac are you running? If it is a new M1 or M2 then you'll have to be sure Rosetta 2 is installed. The 2019 versions of the software are Ventura compatible.

    It's a 2017 27" iMac i7 with 64GB and 2TB available.

It should run on that just fine. My previous comments about installing in Safe Mode and no anti-virus software running still stand. After that you'll have to work with tech support, sorry.

After emailing On1 they replied a few hours later. For the most it read:

"Only our latest versions of  ON1 PHOTO RAW 2023,  2022, 2021 versions are compatible with macOS Big Sur, Monterey and the new macOS Ventura."

    Then the usual sales pitch.

How are people running 2019 in Ventura?

That's interesting, the 2019 Release Notes says it is compatible with Ventura. That's something for support to resolve, sorry. They must know something I don't.
