No Easy Return From Browse View Of Photo

When I browse a folder and double-click on a photo to view it, why isn't there an easy way to return back to the folder view.  Clicking on the folder name at the top or left window does nothing,  Going back to the folder should be a one-click operation.  What am I missing?

  OK, I found a solution - you need  touse the icons at the bottom left on the page.

  You can also use the "g" key!
