AFAIK, there is only the search box. Don't recall any other options for sorting presets.

Thanks a lot, I might remember wrong so. In the meanwhile I found a video that shows how to create groups of presets and will try that way, hoping that thumbnail preview will be available for each group as a whole.

If you right click your new folder, i think you should be able to set the preview.

Note: I just tried this and it's a bit confusing. Here are the step I took:

    1. Select a photo in the browser
    2. Right click the preset category and select 'set category preview'
    3. Double click the preset category to open it
    4. Click on one of the examples shown
    5. Close the category
    6. The image you selected should show up after a short time

    I changed it to this

Thanks to the linked thread I found out what I was looking for!!

That just partially solved my problem....

For example if I go into LUTs...

I see just the built-in LUTs but not any of "my LUTs" (e.g. added as a monthly reward)

Is there a way to include ALL the LUTs within the effetcs browser?

    Thanks a lot

Scroll down to the bottom of the list.

    Hello,

I did scroll down for both the filter browser on the left and the drop down menu within the LUTs effects module on the right (screenshot below) but it seems not to help.

I still have just the built in LUTs in the filter browser (left), not including my LUTs that are in the dropdown on the right.

Basically I would have My LUTs showing up within the filter browser that we have on the left, is that possible?

    Thanks a lot in advance

In the LUTs Effect you are viewing the different Categories they have been placed into. In the Extras Manager you are seeing the individual LUTs. Pick a Category then look in the LUT dropdown menu for those that category contains.

    Hello,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am still quite lost on your explanation.

I will describe more in details what I do. Within the extras I have summertime LUTs let's say.

If I go in the dropdown on the right I can find it adding a LUT effect, using the dropdown, no issue

However, if I want to use the filters browser instead (definitely quicker and more convenient), summertime LUTs are missing.

Do you see my point? Is there a way to integrate MY LUTs within the filter browser?

    Thanks a lot

Click the LUTs entry in the extras Manager. See the 4 square badge to the right of its name? That means there are subfolders in it. There should be a > in there as well. I don't know why it isn't showing in your screen shot.

Now click on the Category you want to use to see its previews.

I gave you references to the User Guide in your other thread. I highly recommend reading through those sections to gain a better understanding of all of this. There are also plenty of training videos both here and on ON1's YouTube channel to show how this works.

    Hello,

I am really sorry to keep on bothering (and I do apologize if I not perfect in communication as English is not my mother language). Anyway, we are referring to two different sections. You are within the presets browser, while I am referring to the Filters browser. The one that shows up only if you are in edit -> effects.

It should facilitate you browsing through all the effects (which is a killer feature at least for me) but it seems not to be consistent with the extras. It contains (at least for me) only the built in effects, excluding all the personal ones.

Here is why I took summertime reward LUT as example in my previous screenshots. in the effects tab on the right it's there. In the left side under filter browser it's not there.

The user guide says: "This panel lets you browse all of the filters inside Effects", and says: "To search for styles inside the Filter Browser, type in the name you’re looking for in the search field at the
    bottom of the panel."

So it is still not clear to me why if I have a summertime LUT properly installed and showing up within the effects dropdown list on the right side of the screen, it will no show up in the filter browser, nor in its search magnifier.

I forgot to switch to the Filters panel, sorry. That explains the missing > symbol though. It isn't present when viewing Filters. It still works the same way however. Click the LUTs panel and you see all of them at once.

You can also click the 4 square icon at the top of the list to see larger versions of each filter in the image area.

FWIW, your English is just fine. I wouldn't have known it isn't your first language had you not said so. 😀

Ok, now we are on the same page.

Just quoting you "It still works the same way however. Click the LUTs panel and you see all of them at once"... That's exactly what I am struggling to reach (a couple of days here and close to give up, maybe I will open a ticket)...

If you look at my previous screenshots I don't have all my LUTs showing off under the filter browser, but just a small number.., The proof of evidence is the summertime LUT... Summertime LUT is in the LUTs on the right but is NOT in the filter browser..... I am going mad :)

As you can see below, I have several LUTs called summer*** but none of them is showing in the filter presets.

After having investigating the issue I can tell you that none of the personal filters installed afterwards are available in the filter browser... That's a pity because a killer feature becomes useless as far we keep on updating it with new rewards... that's a sort of backfire unfortunetly.

I hope there is a way to fix it

I just wanted to let you know that I’m on my way to work now, so I won’t be able to answer this until later this afternoon. I’m not ignoring you.😄

Before you open a ticket, I will download that particular set of LUTs and see if there’s something going on with it.

Already done, no worries. They answered promptly and kindly as always but unfortunately the tool is designed like that.

The filter browser is limited to bult-in effects only and is not showing any of the additional stuff you get for loyalty. That's a shame because - considering also that we cannot create preset groups while preserving the list view in the subfolders - it makes really hard to manage all the wonderful content that is available for both free and plus. Moreover, it is also a strong disincentive to buy any additional content that will be lost in the middle of all other effects/LUTs/Texture...

At the moment the only (very) sub optimal solution I found is to rename all the presets using the beginning of the preset name to force the sorting and workaround (but it will be a long list :)  ), for example put LUTs at the beginning of every preset that is LUT oriented.

Thanks a lot for your patience

    Daniel
