Here is a video showing the new features.

Thank you very much for this fast help
did not know there was a change of mouse options :-(

Thanks Rick. It was very useful.
I'm waiting the mouse options in preference menu because my workflow needs significantly more brush size changing than any other. So I want back my default settings.
And if possible I'd like configure modification keys.0 -
You'll have to discuss that with ON1 support or make suggestions in the Photo Raw project (link below).
They just changed the whole scroll wheel implementation, so, unlikely that they're going to undo it all.

There are already hotkeys you can use to adjust brush size, opacity, feather, and angle. If you don't like the defaults you can change them.

He wants to configure MOD keys, not HOT keys.

@ Rick Sammartino no, they're unlikely to undo the scroll wheel implementation but at least, they could have given the user the choice between the mouse scrolling wheel and the new way of increasing/decreasing the brush size in the menu.

You can always ask. Explain your reasons for wanting to keep the old method alongside the new. They've reimplemented features that were removed for new in the past. The original Quick Mask tool comes to mind. All they can do is say no.

I don't have a problem(*) with the new scroll implementation, but why does the default scroll move the image up and down? It's not a text document, I won't EVER need to to scroll the image with the wheel. They could have left the option in settings to set that the way we wanted.
(*) Well, one problem when drawing straight lines using shift, if you need to invert the mask with ALT at the same time Shift+Alt doesn't work any more. I was using that often.

"You can always ask"
They can always change a well working function :-)
Brush size increasing/decreasing was very simple in previous version with mouse wheel (like other softwares). Now I must use two mod keys to change brush size (not one... two(!!!).. why?). In previous version this function was configurable. Now it's not.1 -
Rick,
I have just created a ticket asking them not to have the default mouse wheel scroll up and down. I have somewhat nervous fingers and am constantly fiddling with the scroll wheel:-/

If you are using Windows a free program called joy to key should allow you to configure the scroll wheel as a key input.

Thanks Dave, but I don't want to re-map the scroll wheel, just don't want it to scroll in ON1 when an image is open.

Gerry, I did the same yesterday. There are many posts in the Plus forum about it as well. I don't need them to remove the new enhancements, I just need the default options back.

I've heard that this will be corrected in the next update. Possibly in a week or two.

I'm using a logitech mouse. With its software, I was easily able to assign ctrl & alt as modifiers to the side buttons on the mouse. Works easily. I do agree though that I am habitualy used to use scroll for zoom rather than up/down - but with the side buttons on the mouse - OK

In agreement here. I use the scroll wheel for brush size more than anything else. It would be great if the ability to change the default in preferences was put back.

It will be put back, probably in the next update.
