2023.5 Curves Tool Issue
AnsweredWindows 11/32GB RAM/GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 TI Laptop/Intel Iris(R) Xe (tried both): In the new Curves tool, when I select the eye dropper and sample a portion of the loaded photo, the curves tool locks up and I can't do anything with it. If I don't use the eye dropper, the tool functions normally. Note, ON1 isn't locked up, only the curves tool.

When you say "sample a portion…" it sounds as though you are clicking on a point in the image. What happens if you drag the eye dropper up or down? That is how it is designed to be used, not for just setting a control point. Dan has a video on the company's YouTube channel that shows it in use. I can't post the link, sorry. They cause my posts to be blocked.

If I click on the eye dropper and then the photo and hold and drag, it works until I release the mouse button. The curve tool is then frozen and can't be used further. I have watched the video you speak about. Something is not working as it should.

You'll have to report that to support then Roy, sorry.

I have been experimenting and it appears that if I first select Super Select AI and then add a curves adjustment, that is when things go wrong and the curves tool locks up. If I don't use Super Select AI first, then curves appears to work as it has been demonstrated.
