Show original pre crop

Is there a setting so that when in develop module and I click on the preview / original button, it will show the original before any edits, including any cropping edits. Currently, when I click on original, it shows the pic "pre-edit" except it retains the crop post crop edit. I know I can go into crop and cancel, but I just wanted to see my pic before any editing was done, switching back and forth to compare.

  Sort of. You would do that with Snapshots.

  

  In this example, Original is the photo as it was originally opened in Edit. The two entries below it are snapshots taken during the editing process. You can switch back and forth through them at will.

  The description of snapshots starts on page 78 in the user guide.

  Unfortunately, no, that is something we cannot do. The before and after view always includes the crop.

  That works for me, thanks...hmmm, it would be cool to have an "original" button next to the "preview" button, if only for ease of use.
