Apps loading at startup on macbook pro

Curious - why do On1 Effects 2023 and NoNoise AI 2023 load and run in the background on MacBook? MacOS 13.4.1 (22F82).

  They shouldn't be loading at startup. You can remove them from your User Account's Login Items. Go to System Preferences > General > Login Items > Open at Login, find those items, select them and click the - button at the bottom of the pane.

  Notice that there are 2 sections — Open at Login and Allow in the Background. Leave them in the Allow section if they are there.
