Upgrade Dilemma

I've just upgraded to the latest version.  Now when I open up my photos are not in order and when I click on a thumbnail some of them won't show in the full screen, this is all very frustrating.  I'm running a Mac desktop with M1 chip and 16 gb memory

  I am running the latest version, also on an M1, with no issues. The usual advice is to restart the app holding down the option key and then choosing Delete Settings. That often resolves such issues.

  The key to press while launching the program so you can Delete Settings File is the Shift key.

  What sort order is selected at the bottom of the Browser's window?

  Interesting, I did not know that. The docs only mention the shift key.
