PhotoRaw 2023 keeps crashing

Have been using successfully for two months and now suddenly it crashed while using an AI preset. Now it takes ages to load an image and always defaults to the AI presets and then just stops responding. I've tried restarting PC and it always still does exactly the same. I can't use 2022 because it won't load R7 compressed .CR3 files. Should I uninstall and reinstall from original order email? Help!
