Progress bar "Saving Settings" just randomly appeared.

Its been going for the past 90 minutes...I can't stop it other than a Force Quit-which may have unintended consequences.I can't use the program and I have work to get done! Suggestions?

  You don't have any choice at this point but to Force Quit. When you restart the program keep a Shift key pressed so you can do the Delete Settings File thing.

  When you say it "just randomly appeared", are you sure it didn't happen when you tried to return to the Browser or move to a new photo while still in the Editor? The program does not save our edits until one of those two things happen.

  Hi Brian.  I was applying a very simple preset. Structure off, develop sharpening threshold high and amount off.

  Thanks for the tip. It's been running that routine for 6 and a half hours now. Lol.

  I forced quit. Deleted settings file. All is "not working" as normal. Haha

  Care to be more specific about how it isn't working normally? Not much we can do with what you've given us.

  It might be time to try the Reset ON1 Photo RAW 2023 function if Reset didn't work.

  It might also help to know about your system. Which Mac are you running? Which OS? How much RAM?
