Keeping ON1 in filmstrip mode

ON1 2020.5, iMac 2011, Sierra/10.12.6

I can't seem to find a way to keep it in Filmstrip mode, every time I change directories or restart ON1 reverts to thumbnail view. What am I missing.

  You are not missing anything. That is just how the program works.

  The assumption is that when you change folders, you will want to see everything as the program will have no way of knowing which one you actually want to see. If the Filmstrip remained open you'd always see the first image in the folder which has a 1/(number of images in the folder) chance of being the right one. Those odds get smaller the more files the folder contains.

  It really isn't that hard to press the F key to turn it back on after selecting a new folder to work in.

  Just one more thing to do...when flipping thru folders.

  But I guess I have to live with it.

  PIA really need a preference setting.
