Moving photos to another drive
AnsweredThis has probably been discussed before but I have all my photos on my Drive C:. Well On1 itself as well as some other programs are also on that drive so it is beginning to fill up. My Drive D: however has a full Terra byte available. I wish to move all my photos to that Drive D.
What is the best and safest way to do that and to set up On1 to use that new location. Once transferred, I will eliminate the files on drive C:.
Thanks for your help,
Mark Miller

In Windows Explorer just copy your photos folder to the new drive then change your Preferences settings in Photo RAW to point to that new location. Preferences > General > Default Browse Location.
You will have to recreate any Catalogs and Albums (not Smart Albums as the Catalog will take care of that) as they both use pointers to where photos are stored and those pointers will become invalid once the photos are gone from your C: drive.
