ON1 and hard drives

why doesn't ON1 2023 see any photos in either of my two external hard drive (where I store all of my photos)?  Earlier versions, like 2020 see them.

  Because it does not have permission to access your drives and the other versions do. Look in your system, preferences security settings. I can’t be more specific right now as I am not at home, but when I get there, I can give you exact instructions.

  Hi Lynn, I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. Depending upon which version of macOS you are running what you see in System Preferences may look a bit different than what you'll see below.

  Go to System Preferences > Privacy & Security > Files and Folders and make sure ON1 Photo RAW 2023 has the permissions shown.
